The 2025 Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a beautifully refined and Cabernet-driven expression of Pauillac, combining remarkable concentration with the estate’s signature elegance, perfume and silky texture. The château itself describes 2025 as a vintage of concentrated, ripe fruit, with Cabernet Sauvignon showing rare elegance and Cabernet Franc contributing distinctive floral notes of iris and rose. Crafted from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the wine possesses impressive depth and structure while remaining graceful, fresh and exceptionally precise.

Tasting Profile

On the nose, expect expressive aromas of cassis, blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by elegant notes of iris, spring flowers, graphite, cigar wrapper and leafy herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with a concentrated core of dark fruit framed by ultra-fine, powdery tannins. Freshness and mineral tension provide remarkable precision, while the Merlot contributes roundness and a supple texture. The finish is long, mouthwatering and persistent, combining classic Pauillac structure with the unmistakable finesse of Pichon Comtesse.
