The 2025 Château Pavie is a powerful yet remarkably refined expression of Saint-Émilion, combining the estate’s signature concentration and richness with the freshness, energy and mineral precision that define the 2025 vintage. The blend of 51% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon delivers impressive depth while maintaining elegance and balance. Limestone-driven freshness, beautifully integrated tannins and an expressive aromatic profile make this an outstanding Pavie with considerable long-term ageing potential.
Tasting Profile
On the nose, expect expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cassis and blueberry, accompanied by floral notes of violet and spring flowers, with layers of graphite, cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate and spicy oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied, concentrated and layered, with succulent dark fruit framed by fine yet powerful tannins. A distinctive chalky minerality and vibrant acidity provide freshness and tension, while the long, persistent finish reveals dark berries, graphite and subtle saline nuances. Despite its impressive richness, the wine remains energetic, precise and remarkably elegant.
