Chateau Margaux 2025
incl. 19% VAT. *
The 2025 Château Margaux is a magnificent and deeply expressive interpretation of one of Bordeaux’s most legendary terroirs. Combining remarkable concentration with the château’s hallmark perfume, finesse and elegance, the 2025 displays exceptional balance despite yields of only 22 hl/ha—among the lowest at the estate in the last century. Only 37% of the harvest was selected for the Grand Vin. The blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot delivers extraordinary depth, silky texture and freshness, positioning this as one of the outstanding wines of the 2025 vintage.
Tasting Profile
On the nose, expect captivating aromas of blackcurrant, dark berries, blackberry and dark plum, accompanied by beautiful floral notes of violet, lilac and orange blossom, with nuances of graphite, pencil shavings, chocolate, spice and finely integrated oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied, dense and layered, yet remarkably graceful. Creamy, velvety tannins surround a concentrated core of dark fruit, while lively acidity provides freshness and precision. Powerful yet almost weightless in its elegance, the wine finishes exceptionally long, polished and aromatic.
