The 2025 vintage shows impressive concentration without excessive weight, supported by polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Crafted from 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, and matured in 75% new oak, it is a classic Lynch-Bages with both immediate appeal and considerable ageing potential.

Tasting Profile

On the nose, expect intense aromas of cassis, blackberry, dark wild berries and blackcurrant, complemented by notes of violets, graphite, cedar, pencil shavings, smoky oak and subtle spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, dense and concentrated, yet beautifully controlled, with ultra-fine tannins and well-integrated acidity. Layers of juicy dark fruit and mineral nuances provide energy and tension, while touches of cedar, black pepper and chocolate add complexity. The finish is long, fresh and persistent, highlighting the wine’s combination of Pauillac power and newfound finesse.
